how To Love Every part Of You This Year
As a mom, wife, daughter, attorney and business woman, I wear many hats. Like many women, I find myself joggling many roles and multi-tasking through the day.
During the week, my day typically starts at 6 AM and by 3 PM, I was spent!
I had no energy and started to get irritable all the time. I was constantly in pain, my lower back was always sore, my fingers would get tired by mid-day, my knees were stiff and made the weirdest sounds. My body was telling me something, and after months of ignoring its gentle plea, it had had enough. My pain level got worse by the day.
I realized that I had to start paying attention to every part of my body. Not just my physical appearance; make up could mask the bags under my eyes (which had become a permanent feature on my tired face!) and a cup of coffee could temporarily solve my fatigue.
My doctor, after running several tests said my blood work looked fine. But I didn't feel fine! My body was lacking, and I knew this, just didn't know what. So I started observing my body, and paid more attention to my symptoms.
After some research, I started taking Calcium 600 mg with Vitamin D regularly. In the past, I would take Calcium every once in a while but I started taking it daily. To my surprise, my knees didn't crackle as often as it did and wasn't as stiff as it used to. That encouraged me immensely. In order to improve my cholesterol and mental health, I added Vitamin E to my self medicating regimen.
I absolutely feel like a brand new woman! My fatigue is gone, and so are my stiff knees. My left knee still feels sore when I run or after exercising. The nice guy at Vitamin World suggested a knee brace. I just started using one so I can’t let you if it helps just yet. (I’ll keep you posted)
